Intergenerational Connections
Yesterday I had the pleasure of accompanying our senior students to the first Intergenerational event for this year. The students had a wonderful time talking with the elderly, playing games and sharing a meal.
It is important for our students to learn to converse with a range of people and this event is one way to give the students the opportunity to develop communication skills and foster positive attitudes towards the elderly in our community.
School Advisory Council
This year we welcome two new members to the council: Billie Jean Mulligan and Aaron King.
At our meeting we discussed the Annual School Plan which is an important document that gives direction to the work we do each year.
PT & F
We had another successful meeting last week. The PT & F is very organised and will be providing the canteen facilities for our school Cross Country next Wednesday 19th March. The committee is also preparing for our Easter Raffle and Hot Cross Bun drive.
I look forward to seeing many parents at the PT & F social evening this Friday from 6.00pm at the Imperial Hotel.
Keep Smiling
