1/2 Classroom News

We have had two fantastic weeks in Grade 1/2. 

Thank you to all the families that attended the getting to know you interviews. 

Aged care

Grade 2 students started their visits to the Aged Care on Tuesday whilst Grade 1 students participated in STEM activities. It was great to see so many smiling faces! We are looking forward to our fortnightly visits. 

Auslan

Students have started weekly Auslan lessons. In Thursdays lesson students learnt how to say yes, no and how to say eagle in sign language. 

Maths

We have been learning about ordering numbers from least to greatest. One lesson each week students participate in maths rotations, they complete a variety of hands on and interactive activities to consolidate all of their maths knowledge. 

Reminders: 

Students will be starting to create their timelines in Inquiry lessons next week. If you haven't already can you please send dates of milestones and photos with your child. We greatly appreciate you support!

Both classes will be borrowing from the Library every Thursday. Please make sure that any Library books are returned to school on this day.
