Student Information/Permission forms

I am still waiting on some "Student Information Forms" and "Miscellaneous Permission Forms" and "Headlice Inspection" Forms to be returned as well as reminders to some families for Birth Certificates and/or Immunisation records. Could these also be returned as quickly as possible as we need the most current information for our records.

 

Curriculum Contributions Reminder

Thank you to those families who have paid their Curriculum contributions for 2025.

Last year School Council set this years contributions at $250.00 a student. These funds are vital to the efficient running of the school and we invite parents/guardians to help support their child/children's education by contributing to the costs.

I have added invoices to those families who have accessed uniforms since the start of the year. I will charge the invoices to the SSB funds held once the end of June has passed.

 

 

CAMPS, SPORTS & EXCURSIONS FUND (CSEF)

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE INFORMATION FOR PARENTS

Every Victorian child should have access to the world of learning opportunities that exist beyond the classroom. The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund helps ensure that no student will miss out on the opportunity to join their classmates for important, educational and fun activities. It is part of making Victoria the Education State and the Government’s commitment to breaking the link between a student’s background and their outcomes.

School camps provide children with inspiring experiences in the great outdoors. Excursions encourage a deeper understanding of how the world works while sports teach teamwork, discipline and leadership.  All are a part of a healthy curriculum.

CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities.

If you hold a valid means-tested concession card or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible for CSEF. The allowance is paid to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions or sporting activities for the benefit of your child.

 

The annual CSEF amount per student is:

  • $154 for primary school students

To be eligible for the fund a parent or carer of a student attending a registered government or non-government Victorian primary or secondary school must:

  • on the first day of Term 1; or

  • on the first day of Term 2.

     

  • Be an eligible beneficiary within the meaning of the State Concessions Act 2004, that is, 

    • be a holder of Veterans Affairs Gold Card or 

    • be an eligible Centrelink Health Care Card (HCC) or 

    • Pensioner Concession Card (PCC) holder; or

  • Be a temporary foster parent; and

  • Submit an application to the school by the due date.

HOW TO APPLY

New applicants should contact the school office to  obtain a CSEF application form.

If you applied for CSEF at your child's school last year, you do not need to complete an application form this year unless there has been a change in your family circumstances. 

You only need to complete an application form if any of the following changes have occurred:

  • new student enrolments: your child has started or changed schools this year.

  • changed family circumstances: such as a change of custody, change of name, concession card number, or new siblings commencing this year.

It’s more than just a garden—it’s a space for learning, connection, and growth.And of course, a huge thank you must go to everyone who contributed to our recent school event, where we successfully catered for around 90 people. It was truly impressive to see such a fantastic turnout, and heartwarming to feel the love and witness the excitement as everyone enjoyed a bit of downtime and quality time with their loved ones.A massive thank you to all the staff, students, and families who came together to make this day such a success. Library For Littlies We are proud of our Library for Littlies program! Running every Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 9:30, this special session is always a highlight of our week. We sincerely thank all the families who attend and help make it such a wonderful and engaging event.  KING ARTHURA Massive Thank You to Wedderburn CollegeA huge shout-out to Mr Forest and the wonderful staff and students of Wedderburn College for once again inviting us—free of charge—to attend the ALPHA Show this year.It is always a highlight on our calendar and a memorable experience that our students truly cherish. This is a great opportunity to learn more about what our school offers and to meet our staff and students.Volunteers’ Lunch: Please note that our Volunteers’ Lunch has been moved from the end of the year to next week, to coincide with National Volunteer Week. This change also helps free up our busy end-of-year calendar. We’re looking forward to celebrating and thanking the many volunteers who support our school.Open Morning – Friday, 9:00am to 11:00am: Parents and carers are invited to visit classrooms, observe student learning in action, and experience the engaging environment their children are part of each day.Annual Athletics Day: To round out the week, we’ll be holding our much-loved Athletics Day—a fun and active way to bring our school community together and celebrate participation and sportsmanship.It’s shaping up to be a busy and exciting week, and we can’t wait to share it with you! Lunch Time Activities Lunchtime activities play an important role in supporting students’ overall wellbeing and development at school. These activities also give students the opportunity to build social skills, form friendships, and develop a sense of belonging — all of which contribute to better mental health and improved engagement in the classroom.For some students, lunchtime activities are a safe and supportive space where they feel included and valued. This can make a big difference to their confidence and motivation.
