This week the year 5/6 students have been creating graphs. Graphs are engaging in a process that involves data collection, data organization, selecting the right graph type, interpreting the results, and presenting their findings clearly. This not only helps them develop technical skills but also critical thinking and analytical skills. Please see some of our wonderful examples b

 

 

 

 

 

I collected data from my class choosing their favourite sports. I then created a column graph with my categorical data.

My data was the temperature from the Galapagos Islands. I created a line graph with my numerical data. My data is from today to next Thursday.

We have also been extremely busy creating some wonderful Mother's Day gifts for the special people in our life. It has been a great opportunity to reflect on the special bonds we share with our mothers, nans and grandmothers.
