Term 2 Sport

This term students will have the opportunity to refine their skills in the sports of athletics and basketball. 

Weeks 3-5 - Athletics- students will travel over to the Golland fields to practice throwing (discus and shot put), jumping (long jump) and running (track events) in preparation for our school athletics carnival in week 7 of this term. 

Weeks 6-9 - Basketball-Students will learn and refine skills in basketball. Students will be participating in basketball sessions facilitated by the Gunnedah Basketball Association both at school and over at the local basketball courts. 

Term 2 Sport Dates

2025 Dio Summer Trials (Touch) - Glen Innes. 16th of May 2025 for nominated students

Athletics Practices:  Wednesday 14th, 21st, 28th of May  1:50pm - 3:00pm

St Joseph's Athletics Carnival - Friday the 13th of June at Golland Fields. 

                                                               Back up date:  20th June
