Jubilee 2025: Pilgrims of Hope
It was exciting to hear the news that we have a new Pope: Leo X1V. He is the first Pope from the Augustinian order and the first Pope from the United States of America.
May his words inspire all of us, so that we can “move forward, without fear, united, hand in hand with God and with each other.”
Our Primary students will be travelling to Armidale on Wednesday 28th May to attend the Diocesan Catholic Schools Week Mass. Parents are asked to give permission via COMPASS.
Could all Project Compassion boxes be returned. Thank you to the few who have already done so. The funds raised go to Caritas to help with the good work they do. Caritas accompanies communities to build on existing local strengths and resources, supporting them to drive their own development for more transformative and sustainable change. When a crisis hits, Caritas Australia partners with local organisations and Church partners to bring aid and relief to people whose lives have been devastated by natural disaster or conflict. Caritas advocates for social and ecological justice for those most impacted by inequality. Above all, with shared compassion and hope, Caritas works towards a just world for all. It is through collaboration with parishes, schools and communities across Australia, that Caritas can continue to advocate for a more just and equitable world—working together for dignity and a thriving future for all.
