St Louis de Montfort is Celebrating 60 years 

Good afternoon families,

 

The mornings have began to get colder and you can feel that winter is coming. I hope you are all managing to avoid the flu that seems to have come in early.

 

First Communion 

Tomorrow we will be celebrating the Year 4's First Communion. Please keep these children in your prayers. The masses will be at St Brigid's at 1pm and 2.30pm.

Please be aware that Station St is closed on Sunday from 7 am - 4 pm. 

 

PFA parent event 

Our PFA is organising a Trivia Night on the 14 June in St Louis' hall. 

We have not held a parent event for a few years and I really encourage everyone to come together to enjoy an evening with old and new friends. Please look at the PFA page for details. This is a very important event for our school community and I hope you can gather a table of parents and/or friends.

 

Division Cross Country 

12 students will be participating in the Division Cross Country on Wednesday 27 May.

 

WOW - wheel or walk 

The Year 6 Leadership team have joined St Louis' into the  Kingston Council wheel or walk initiative for the next 5 weeks. Wednesday is the day they are asking as many students as possible to walk or wheel to school. Please refer to the WOW page in this newletter, the Year 6 team has posted with the details. It will be updated each week.

 

School Advisory Council 

The SAC are meeting on Thursday 21 May. If you have any items for the Council to discuss  please email office. The email will be sent to the Chair of the SAC.

 

Uniform Shop

Lisa is on LSL from Wed 21May - Friday 6 June. Please shop online during this period and your orders will be filled and sent to your child's classroom. 

 

Prep 2026 

All parents who have siblings starting school next year, please put your enrolments forms in as soon as possible. We already have a large number of students enrolled for 2026 and we want to make sure that all our siblings are enrolled.

 

Year 5 camp 

Thank you to the staff who went on camp this week. Mrs Passante, Mrs Carnegie, Ms Pace, Frank, Pauline, Mr O' Brien, Mrs Davies and Mrs Barron. Camps could not go ahead if we did not have staff to support our students.
