WELCOME BACK

Welcome back to all school staff and families after the school holidays.  I hope you enjoyed your Easter celebrations and had a chance for some rest and relaxation.

WORSHIP SERVICES AT ST PAUL 

Everyone is welcome to attend the worship service held in the Church each Sunday at 9.30am.

BIBLE GIFTING FOR RECEPTION CHILDREN

Each year the church congregation loves to gift a Bible to each Reception child. The Bibles will be presented during the worship service this Sunday, 4 May at 9.30am and there will also be a time for the re-dedication of school staff where we will pray for them and ask God to bless them in their work.

After the service, there will be a shared morning tea and some craft activities. 

You are all welcome to attend. 

PLAYGROUP @ ST PAUL

Playgroup is back for Term 2!

Held every Tuesday during term time from 9-10.30am, Playgroup @ St Paul is for children aged 0-5 and a parent/caregiver. School families are more than welcome to come across after you have done the school drop-off.  We won’t be completely set up, but you are still welcome to hang out with us.

Cost is $2 per family and your first visit is free. 

Come and check out the play space, make a craft, play with playdough, explore the sensory play space, and join in with story and song time.

This week it was all about lemurs and we had fun making clip on lemurs at the craft table. 

Next week we will be making a special gift in time for Mother’s Day to celebrate the special women in our lives.

SPY - ST PAUL YOUTH 

SPY is our gathering for young people in Year 6/7/8, and is returning for Term 2 this Friday 2 May.

Join us in the St Paul Lutheran Church Hall, 44 Audrey Ave, Blair Athol at 7pm until 9pm, with a night of fun activities planned.

A reminder that all parents are required to come inside and register your attendance. Cost is $3 and cold drinks are available for $2 a can. 

Girls - please bring supper to share.

BIBLE VERSE OF THE WEEK

This week’s Bible verse contains the basic foundation of God’s character: Love. 

God is love and he loves you more than you could possibly imagine. 

For ever and ever. 

No matter what.

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. (1 John 4:16).

Risen Lord Jesus, come to us today.  Help us to love you, serve you and follow you. Amen.
