We hope you had a restful break with your families.
At Sacred Heart we believe that every student deserves the best possible education—and that starts with regular attendance. When students come to school every day, they build the strong foundation of skills they need to succeed, not just this year, but throughout their schooling.
Even a few days away can make a big difference. There’s no “safe” number of days to miss—every day at school is a valuable opportunity for learning and growth.
A reminder to lodge all absences on Operoo. Any planned extended period of absence needs to be emailed to Kaylene for prior approval.
What is the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data? Schools must now complete the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) every year. It counts the number of students who receive additional adjustments or “help” at school because of a disability. The NCCD helps governments plan for the needs of students with disability.
We have attached a sheet which includes more information about the process that the school follows when collecting student data.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to one of the team. We would be happy to chat further.
