Let's THRIVE in 2025

SCHOOL HOUSE CROSS COUNTRY

On Tuesday we held a very successful House Cross Country at Macleay Park. Students in Prep ran approx. 500m, students in 1/2 - 800m, 9/10 year olds - 1.5km, 11 and 12/13 year olds -  2km.

The weather was friendly as the rain just held off. It was fantastic to see so many parents and other family members there to support all our runners. A special thanks to those parents who helped as marshals - it was a great team effort!!

The age group races (9/10, 11 and 12/13) serve as trials for the District Cross Country which will be held at the same venue on Friday 16th May. We wish those students selected to compete for OHR the very best of luck and stay tuned for an update after this day.

Overall, the results for the House Shield are calculated by finding the average placing for each house. We do this by adding up the finish place of every student in ahouse and dividing it by how many students in the House. The lower this number - the better.

The results were as follows:

4th - Fraser (average placing 11.27)

3rd - Jackson (average placing 10.82)

2nd - Perkins (average placing 10.69)

1st - Clarke (average placing 8.47)

Congratulations to Clarke as well as our Top 3 finishes for each race who are listed below.
