Friends Together 2025
With the School’s throughline this year of Active Hope, we hope you can consider supporting the School’s annual giving program, Friends Together. This year we are focusing our efforts on raising money for The Friends’ Fellowship, to enable a student, whose family can least afford the fees, to access a Friends' education next year. There are also options to contribute to building and facilities developments, and information literacy through the School libraries.

Secondhand Uniform Pop-up - Raising Funds for The Friends' Fellowship
Tuesday 27 May and Wednesday 28 May | Farrall Centre Upper Foyer
The Parent Year Group Reps are assisting the School in organising a Secondhand Uniform Pop-up, to be held from 3pm to 4pm Tuesday 27 May and 8am to 9:30am Wednesday 28 May.
We are seeking donations of any current Friends' School Uniform for this activity, which will be held in conjunction with the Student Giving Day (see school section notice for details). All proceeds from the uniform sales are going towards The Friends' Fellowship. This needs-based scholarship will enable a student, whose family can least afford it, to access a Friends' education next year.
Could we please ask that uniform donations be delivered to Main Reception - 23 Commercial Road, North Hobart. Donated uniform needs to be delivered clean and in fair condition. For more information please contact Emma Gilligan.
Global Day of Parents
As part of the Global Day of Parents, we are planning to acknowledge and thank all parents in June. Watch out for more details in What's On in the coming weeks.
Road Safety
The School is aware that a number of parking related infringement notices (fines) were issued over the last week on streets neighbouring both campuses. The School appreciates that Tasmania Police and Hobart City Council authorised officers support road safety measures, especially around schools, with regular patrols of parking restrictions and conducting speed checks.
If you are not familiar with the Tasmanian parking rules, you are encouraged to take notice of localised signage and review the rules under Part 12 at Road Rules.
The School's road safety page also contains lots of helpful information and tips.
