Spotlight on Learning Wallaby

Wallaby students have been impressing us with their hard work and enthusiasm this term. In English, we have been exploring narrative writing, learning how to create interesting characters and settings. 

Our favourite texts have been Edward the Emu and Stick Man. We’ve been learning how to develop a beginning, middle and end to our stories.

In maths, our focus has been on understanding numbers and how they work. We have explored counting, place value, and simple addition and subtraction. Students have also been introduced to graphs, learning how to gather and represent data visually. 

We are proud of everyone’s achievements and look forward to seeing more growth and creativity next term!
