Your P&C - Fostering cooperation and engagement between parents/carers and school.

Dear Parents and Carers,

What an excellent P&C Disco Night we had at school last Friday, 11 September! As with previous years, it was a hugely popular event, with almost 400 CPS students joining us for a night of music, dancing and fun. It was wonderful to see our students having such a fantastic time.

A BIG thank you to all the parent and carer volunteers who gave up their evening to help make the event such a success. We would also like to thank Principal Jones and the school staff who were on duty that night and provided such great support to ensure everything ran smoothly. A special mention again goes to Ashley, our Events Coordinator, who led the event from beginning to end and helped make it such a fun and enjoyable night for everyone involved. The P&C is already gathering ideas for next year's Disco Night!

We are now looking forward to our Term 3 Community Morning Tea next Friday, 25 September, from 8:00am to 9:00am in the school hall. We warmly invite all parents and carers to join us for a coffee or tea, stay for a chat, and connect with other members of our CPS community. We hope to see many familiar and new faces there.

During the morning tea, the P&C will also run a Second-hand Uniform Pop-up Shop, with summer uniforms available for families preparing for the Term 4 uniform change. It's a great opportunity to pick up some pre-loved uniforms while supporting our school community.

Finally, as the fourth Tuesday of this month falls at the end of term, the P&C Executive Committee has decided to cancel the September General Meeting on Tuesday, 22 September and instead focus on our end-of-term Community Morning Tea on Friday, 25 September. We apologise for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing everyone at our next General Meeting in October.

Thank you again for your wonderful support of the P&C and our school community.

Warm regards,

Brian Chiu
