A Blast From the Past

Libraries across the world rely on the generosity of others in form of donations. This week Mr Matthews was visiting a school on the Northern Beaches that has unfortunately had to close its doors. He was invited to look through their library for books to take back to our shelves and he came across a decent copy of the Websters International Dictionary, published in 1935 making the book 91 years old . Please see some pictures below of the book.

The book was in need of repairs which Ms Lee is currently doing. Hopefully it will be ready for display and a permanent place in our libraries collection for future generations to enjoy.

The library team wishes you a Happy Easter and hopes everyone has a safe and relaxing holiday. We’ll see you next term.

Keep on reading!
