Dear Parents, Carers and Dance Community,

We are pleased to share a positive update on the recent rehearsals and dance sessions across all stages. Teachers have reported that students are demonstrating exceptional talent, with an impressively high standard evident in both technique and performance quality. It has been wonderful to see such enthusiasm, commitment, and growth throughout the program.

Stage 2 and Stage 3 dance groups have now successfully submitted their preliminary applications for the upcoming dance festival. In the first week of Term 2, teachers will be finalising and submitting a video of each group’s performance as part of the official festival entry process.

To support preparations for costumes, teachers are now required to collect accurate student measurements. This will ensure that costumes can be organised efficiently and fit appropriately ahead of performances.

Students are reminded of the importance of attending all scheduled rehearsals to maintain consistency and performance quality. Absences should only occur in cases of illness, appointments, or when students are required to be absent on official school business.

We would also like to thank all students and parents for a terrific start to the dance sessions. Your enthusiasm and support have set a strong foundation for the program. Students are encouraged to continue practising their routines over the holidays to maintain momentum and further develop their skills.
