Pool A - Game 1 KCC v MDCC (4-5) 

•   Game 2   KCC v  WWHS (3-1)

This placed us second in our pool and so we then played Kooringal High in the semi- final.

Semi-Final KCC v KHS ( 7 - 2)

In the Grand Final against MDCC, our young team led by Yr 12 students Abbey Hodge and Jess Graham scored the first touchdown (Zara Connolly). MDCC replied quickly and at half time the score was 4-2 in their favour (with Abbey Hodge scoring our second touch down).

We crossed the line a number of times in the second half but touch downs were disallowed and we were eventually beaten 8-2 by the MDCC team.

Grand Final KCC v MDCC (2-8)

A huge thank you to our Coach Mr Mack and our managers Mrs Murphy, Mrs Arentz and Ms O’Connor. Thanks also to Ms Sutton who was our team photographer. It was great to have some keen supporters join us on the sideline for the game as well.

Well done to the team. In the 23 years of the college’s existence, we have made 21 finals so we are a consistently strong touch outfit.  The team has lots of promise for the coming years with some outstanding young players coming through. Thank you to Abbey and Jess who will finish their time at KCC this year but who have been long time members of the KCC Preston Butcher teams.

 Well done.
