We hope you’re as excited as we are for Book Week next week!
Book Week 2024
Wednesday, 21st August
🌟 Book Character Dress Up Day: Children are invited to dress as their favourite book
character and bring the book to school if possible.
🌟 Gold Coin Donation: Please bring a gold coin donation to support the World Literacy
Foundation, which provides books and educational resources to children in underserved
communities in Kayunga, Uganda.
🌟 Parade: Join us at 9:00 AM in the Multipurpose Room for a whole-school parade where
students will describe their costumes and the books they are from.
🌟 Activities: After the parade, students will enjoy activities themed “Reading Is Magic,”
including crafting magic wands, creating magical wish bags, and making dream catchers.
🌟 Special Treat: We’ll end the day with hot chocolate and marshmallows while enjoying
favourite stories read by their teachers.
Parents and family members are invited to watch the parade and help with activities. If you are available to assist, please let your child’s teacher know.
Thursday, 22nd August
🌟 12:00 PM - Tim the Magician: Join us in the Multipurpose Room for a magical performance by Tim the Magician.

🌍 Exhibition of Learning: Thursday 12th September🌟
Sacred Heart will soon come together to celebrate the incredible learning achieved through our Inquiry Learning. We are excited to showcase students' stories, artwork, and music from various cultures around the world. Please mark your calendars and keep the date free, more details will be shared soon.
