Pastoral Focus
Mr Ian Thompson
Today I would like to introduce you to a new wellbeing initiative at St George’s. We have teamed with the organisation Living Ripples to conduct a whole-community wellbeing survey.
Let me use their words to explain it:
“Living Ripples works with schools to understand and respond to their wellbeing and resilience focus areas. Our support commences with a three year engagement whereby schools are supported with data, insights and guidance on how to respond to focus areas specific for the school, their students and their community.”
This is a wonderful opportunity for our school to access a pool of data and analytics to support our future planning for the social and emotional wellbeing of our community. The task for everyone is simple – and quick, I promise. The deadline is 21 September.
To complete the survey go to: https://lr.resilientyouth.org/
School Name: St George’s Anglican Grammar School
Your 2024 Resilience Survey
Access Codes are:
Student Resilience Survey Access Code: 469190
School Staff Resilience Survey Access Code: 352003
Parent Resilience Survey Access Code: 800644
This is an opportunity to play your part in the wellbeing of our school and its culture. The data will also feed into a wider pool (hence the name living ripples!) of data produced by schools all over the country.
Now is the time to book your place at our upcoming Parent Guest Speaker Series and Afternoon Tea and Chatter - both free events focus on student pastoral care and wellbeing.
