Alfa Air are looking at 2 potential students who are looking for an apprenticeship when school finishes.   They can give them a work experience trial through 16 - 20 September 2024.

• Airconditioning company involved in a wide range of installation, maintenance and service of air conditioners, to high end VRF's and VRV's.
• Wants someone keen and focussed on this industry.  Wants to start a trial for 2 students as soon as possible.

Mining and Automotive Skills Alliance

It's estimated that the mining and automotive industries will grow by over 72,000 workers nationally in the coming decade, including 31,000 in mining, 10,000 in oil and gas extraction, and 31,000 in the automotive industry. 

The Mining and Automotive Skills Alliance Workforce Plan for 2024 – Moving Ahead Together, incorporates input from industry, unions, governments, registered training organisations, and workforce stakeholders. The plan addresses workforce and skills shortages, improving diversity, and adopting new technologies to enhance productivity and environmental outcomes are some of the key priorities for the automotive and mining industries.
