Book Week Wrap-Up

The Library and English Department have had a blast in celebrating Book Week in the Senior School this week. Trying to strike a balance between 'ultra-cool and literary, bookish Uncles' and 'super-knowledgeable, free-spirited reading gals,' we have enjoyed the opportunity to take a week to appreciate all things that are bookish, wordsy and filled with information-ness. 

Admittedly, it was hard to follow the explosions of Science week, however we do believe there's been plenty of explosions in our minds as we've enjoyed Book Blokes, read-ins, quizzes, recommendations, chatting, sharing and sugar.

A big thanks to all of our readers in the school. It doesn't matter if it's often or occasional, we definitely felt your enthusiasm for reading this week and would love to continue to encourage you to enjoy the escapism, mindfulness and adventure that books have to offer.
