Light

Students have been reading, viewing and writing about the properties of light.  We have constructed periscopes, colour wheels and used mirrors to redirect light.  Our next topic is Matter.  We will be learning about the properties of solids, liquids and gases and how matter can change states.

Insta/Twitter/Tiktok

As teachers, we are aware that some of our students are accessing social media platforms such as Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and Tiktok.  When unsupervised, these platforms can be quite harmful to impressionable young people who are easily influenced by the posts they see on social media.  They can also be platforms where hurtful messages are sent to other students.
