What a privilege it was to attend Deakin University on Saturday 17th August to watch our two Tournament of Minds teams compete in and present their challenges. The teams have been working hard for 6 weeks on their long term challenge and were also given an on-the-spot spontaneous challenge to solve as a team. A huge thank you to Mr Hardev Singh, Ms Jemma Dunstan, Ms Lainie Owen and Ms Andrea Garwood for their support in preparing out teams for this event!
A reminder that the canteen doors close when the music plays before school, at recess and at lunch. Please ensure your child is well prepared prior to the music playing and not late to class due to purchasing items.
A reminder to please NOT park across driveways of houses around the school during school events, drop off and pick up times. The neighbours have complained and will be seeking Victoria Police and Council support if this continues.
THURSDAY 5th SEPTEMBER
How are you going with your fundraising?! Just a reminder that the class that raises the most money will get a pizza party!!
Also - the highest fundraising student in each class, each week will be put into a raffle to SLIME the Principal!!! We are really excited for another day of messy, crazy FUN!!
If all families were to complete the surveys we would have 609 responses - currently we have 87 responses which is only 14%!
We would love to hear from more of you!
If you have not yet completed this survey, please click the link below. The survey shouldn't take longer than 15-20 minutes. We really appreciate your time and feedback as we are always striving to improve.

Just a reminder that Parent Teacher interviews will be held this term. Keep your eye on Compass as the online bookings will open Monday 26th August. This will be an opportunity to discuss progress on Semester one reports.
As the theme of this year's Book Week says "Reading is Magic" and our parade and festivities on Monday sure were magic!! A huge thank you to all of our families and students for the effort they made in preparing costumes and outfits for this celebration. We had some amazing collaborations from staff as well and we enjoyed being able to hand out prizes to the "best dressed" students as nominated by our student leaders.
As promised, we will run another training session for all parents/carers who would like to be volunteers in the school. This will take place on Wednesday 4th September in the staff room. Please click the link below if you would like to attend.
