Book Week
Book Week author visit: Ingrid Laguna
As part of Book Week, the Year 3 – 6 students were privileged to meet and learn from a published author. Ingrid Laguna has written: Kit and Arlo, Bailey Finch takes a Stand, Sunflower, Songbird and Serenade for a Small Family.
Ingrid is an experienced and dynamic presenter and teacher; she is passionate about meeting young readers and sharing her knowledge of writing with them. Ingrid’s session was engaging and interactive. The students learned a great deal and were inspired to write their own stories.
Meerkat Productions: “Timeless” by Kelly Canby.
Prep to Year 2 students were invited to share Meerkat Productions adaptation of ‘Timeless’ as part of our Book Week celebrations.
This performance was designed to inspire students to pause, reflect, embrace the moments that truly matter, and understand the value of quality time.
