Year 7 Textiles Technology Update

Students have started making their supermarket stitch replica food items. We are going to be in competition with the major supermarkets soon, look how incredible these are going to be and it is only the start of the project. 

Year 9 Textiles Technology Update

Year 9 Textiles students have been working on their shorts or pants this week. They’ve selected fabrics and used commercial patterns to cut out their chosen size and style. Throughout the process, students have received multiple demonstrations on fabric construction, using commercial patterns, and the importance of following patterns accurately. Through making their garments, students not only learn the theory behind construction but also gain vital skills that will support them throughout their Textiles journey and serve as valuable life skills.
