HAIKU POEMS

By Grade 5

The Year 5 students have been diving into the world of poetry, exploring a fascinating form known as Haiku.

For those who might not be familiar, a Haiku is a traditional Japanese poem with a very specific structure: just three lines, capturing a moment or feeling.

We have created Haikus with enthusiasm and creativity, learning how to use our observations of the world around us and put them into just a few carefully chosen words.
