We are excited for a wonderful year of communication, connection, and engagement with our school community.
📅 Tuesday, 18th February⏰ Hubs open from 4:00 PM | Smoking Ceremony at 4:30 PM
Families are warmly invited to our Welcome Picnic as we come together to start the new school year. The Hubs will be open from 4:00 PM for a quick visit, and we are honored to have Uncle Daniel lead a Smoking Ceremony at 4:30 PM sharp.
After the ceremony, we’ll unwind and enjoy the evening together, bring a picnic rug and your own food and catch up with fellow members of our school community.

🌱 Playgroup – Starting Week 2📅 Every Thursday from 6th February⏰ 9:00 – 10:00 AM📍 St Gabriel’s, EWP Room
Our Playgroup is a great way for young children and families to connect and play together. Sessions are open to children aged 1–5 years, with parents required to accompany their child.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet other families and enjoy an engaging play experience.

We look forward to seeing you at these events and sharing a great year ahead!
We will be holding two Parent Volunteer sessions this term. If you would like to volunteer at school in any capacity—such as assisting on excursions, running stalls, or helping in the garden—you are required to attend one of these sessions.
This is a one-time requirement for the duration of your child’s time at the school.
📅 Session 1 (Onsite) – Thursday, 20th February | 10:15 – 11:00 AM📍 St Gabriel’s – Please enter through the front office
📅 Session 2 (Online) – Wednesday, 12th March | 7:00 PM📍 Google Meet Link
Sadly, just before Christmas, Cookie, one of our school chickens, passed away after being unwell. For now, we will continue to care for our two remaining chickens, Jade and Nugget.
A big thank you to Jean, David, and Leah for looking after Jade and Nugget over the Christmas holidays—our girls will miss you!
For the Term 1 school holidays, we will have a roster for families interested in caring for the chickens during the break. More information will be shared in Week 7.
We are looking for Garden Helpers to support small groups of students with planting, weeding, pruning, and composting in our school garden. If you have a passion for gardening, this is a great opportunity to get involved!
✅ Requirements: Volunteers must have a valid WWCC and have completed the Parent Volunteer session.
