Principal's Update
Outdoor Courts Upgrade
King's College is excited to announce that we are commencing a major upgrade of the outdoor Basketball and Tennis courts next to the Gymnasium. This project will see the courts resurfaced and coated with an acrylic surface, and marked for Basketball, Netball and Tennis.
As shown in the images below, the courts will be covered by an overhead PVC membrane to create an all-weather outdoor playing surface. This project will be a significant improvement to our sporting facilities and will provide extra space for PE classes, as well as general recreation for Senior students.
This project is partly funded by generous donations from the Uebergang, Jones and Brodie foundations. We anticipate construction commencing at the start of October 2024 and completion by February 2025. The images below are artists impressions of how the finished project might look.
