Illuminate Program

As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence, we are once again offering our specialised, invitation-only extension program, Illuminate. Open to students across Years 4 to 6 who demonstrate exceptional ability and interest in English, STEM or the Creative Arts, the Illuminate program provides an opportunity to engage in experiential learning.

It extends critical and creative thinking, through challenging independent and group projects, tackled under the guidance of experienced educators. This program is an excellent opportunity for our most motivated and talented students to take their learning to the next level.

We look forward to showcasing our work to parents in the first week of Term 4.

Under 8s Day Activities

Our Primary School was a hive of activity last Friday as our Pre-Prep to Year 3 students celebrated Under Eights Day. Every classroom and play area housed an activity that enabled Unleashing scientific thinking through play. From the physics of sandpit structures, spaghetti and marshmallow towers, ping pong ball challenges and paper plane flying to the chemistry of volcanoes, cornflour gloop and tie dying, there was something for everyone.

We had a crazy scientist photo booth, face painting and biologists hunting for minibeasts in the gardens, building habitats for toy animals and clearing rubbish off a miniature beach. We extend special thanks to all the staff who planned and prepared the fun activities, Year 6 students who helped on the day, and to the 'Under Eights' who readily embraced curiosity and learning through collaborative shared play.
