Library News

Hello Chatswood Community,

Mr. Matthews recently attended the Teacher Librarian Conference at the State Library. It was an amazing opportunity for him to discover new books from both established and emerging authors, as well as to explore the valuable resources the library offers to our community.

One of the standout services the State Library provides for young people is the ATLAS Group, which offers a variety of free clubs for your children to join. These include the Art Club, Book Lovers Club, and Young Writers Club.

  • Art Club: Ideal for budding primary school-aged artists.
  • Book Lovers Club: A community for enthusiastic young readers.
  • Young Writers Club: A great way to find inspiration, share ideas, and dive into writing.

For more information and to sign your child up for the ATLAS Group, please follow this link.

Additionally, last week Mr. Matthews updated our school library homepage. If you live in the local area and are part of the Willoughby Library network, a link to the library's digital collections is now available to all students. Please note that you will need your library card to access these digital resources, which can be very helpful for online research or even some quick weekend reading.

That's all from us for now. Until next time, keep on reading!

Best regards,

The Library Team
