Wellbeing

A big thank you to everyone who came to school on Friday 16th May, in the most fabulous way! We celebrated IDAHOBIT day in style with a shared recess, a parade around the oval, and we raised $152.50 towards our new Inclusion Space. This is a project that the Inclusion Action Team have dreamed up and work is being started on this term…stay tuned!

IDAHOBIT day is a great chance to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and our message of inclusion and standing up against discrimination. Thanks to the Inclusion Action Team for their hard work organising a special day!

In the lead up to IDAHOBIT day, for Health and Wellbeing, the 3/4 and 5/6 students have been investigating the question: How can we make our school more inclusive and accepting for all genders?

Students have been surveying their peers to collect data on how they feel in different areas in the school and taking actions to promote gender equality, visibility and safety. It’s wonderful to see student action make positive change and impact.

Enjoy some of the Fabulousness captured across the day…
