Election Day
A huge thank you to everyone who baked and volunteered their time to make our election day stall a huge success! We purchased every last sausage from both EBV and Barkly Square Coles, and raised an incredible $5840 for the school! Money raised from current events will be used to fund our new inclusion space.
Mother’s and Special Person’s Day Stall
Our Mother’s and Special Person’s Day Stall was held the Friday before Mother’s Day. There was much excitement from the kids who all loved buying a gift for their Mum and other special people in their lives. The thought and deliberations that went into their purchases was super sweet to watch. A big thank you to all the parents and 5/6 students that helped on the day. It was so great to see the majority of volunteers that turned up were Dads! We hope all the Mums and other special people had a relaxing Mother’s Day, and enjoyed their fluffy socks, perfume, nail polish, plants, keyrings and other goodies their kids bought for them.
Ciao Down
Ciao Down is back every Friday after school! You know the drill, if your class is scheduled to host, please drop your donations in the STEM room from Friday morning and let your class carer know if you can help at the stall. Please make sure your child has money packed if they would like to buy a yummy treat after school. Please see schedule for the rest of term 2 below:

Silent Auction – Donations wanted!
Last year the silent auction made over $3500 for the school, and this was largely because of the generous donations from our school community. It is happening again this year, and we are currently looking for donations. If you have a small business that can donate goods, services or vouchers (or just feel like donating something from your family), please contact Beckett beckett.rozentals@gmail.com. All businesses that make a donation will receive a certificate of appreciation and be promoted in the school newsletter.
Festa di Primavera
Preparations are already underway for our big community event of the year, the Festa di Primavera! The wonderful Pete Mattessi is at the helm this year, and is currently looking for parents to join the planning team. The more people that help, the more successful the event can be!
