Wominjeka Everyone,

“For the pain, suffering and hurt of these Stolen Genrerations, their descendents and for their families left behind, we say sorry… denied the chance to play a full part in the life of our great country” – Kevin Rudd

At OSHC, we are acknowledging National Sorry Day through a variety of activities, one of them is by reading Sorry Day by Coral Vass and Dub Leffler with the children.

This powerful book opens up important conversations about Australia’s history, the Stolen Generations, and the significance of saying “sorry.” Through this story, we hope to foster empathy, understanding, and respect as part of our commitment to reconciliation and learning together.
