We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible achievements of our ensembles at this year’s Queensland Youth Music Awards. Each group performed with passion, precision, and musical maturity, earning well-deserved recognition in their respective categories.

 String Ensembles

• Senior String Ensemble – Bronze Award (A Grade)

  A poised and expressive performance in a highly competitive section.

• Intermediate String Orchestra – Silver Award (B Grade)

  A vibrant and polished showing, full of energy and lyrical sensitivity.

Wind & Concert Bands

• Wind Ensemble – Bronze Award (B Grade) 

  A strong performance in a stacked section, showcasing great musical discipline.

• Senior Concert Band – Silver Award (A Grade)

  A refined and well-controlled program, featuring some of our most talented musicians.

 Jazz & Big Bands

• Senior Big Band – Gold AwardA standout performance that dazzled with style, skill, and cohesion.
• Jazz Ensemble – Silver AwardA smooth and sophisticated set, highlighting the depth of talent in the FCIP.
