Principal's Message

Good afternoon, Parents/Carers,

We are well into the second half of Term 2 and I trust everyone enjoyed the break with the King's Birthday Long Weekend.

Parent/Teacher Interviews

We will be holding Parent/Teacher Interviews in Week 9 and 10 of this term.  Notes were sent home last week to ask for your preferred times. Our staff will try their best to accommodate you with one of your preferred times however, it will be on a first in, first served scenario.  If you could please return your preferred times as soon as possible it would be greatly appreciated.  If these dates and times are not suitable, please contact the school and we will do our best to accommodate. 

Spelling Bee

Last Tuesday we held our spelling bee competition.  All participating students did an amazing job spelling some very difficult words.

Congratulations to our Stage 2 winner Zakk and our Stage 3 winner Kobi who are through to round 2 of competition.

Regional Cross Country

We wish Lachy and Ashton good luck as they compete in the NENW Regional Cross Country Carnival this Thursday at Coolah.  We look forward to hearing all about it on your return. 

Small Schools Soccer Knockout

Our soccer team will be representing Werris Creek Public School at the Small Schools Soccer Knock Out competition this Friday, 13th June in Gunnedah.  Their first game will be against Boggabri.  Good luck team.

Behaviour Focus

Turn Up Awards

Congratulations to our Turn Up Award winners for Week 5 who received a canteen voucher to purchase lunch from the school canteen at the canteen this Friday:
