Congratulations to our April Aussie of the Month Alia Hanfeld.

Aussie of the Month is awarded to a student each month that demonstrates the qualities of fairness, mateship, respect and inclusion.  

Alia  has consistently displayed our school values since commencing Prep at GRPS in 2019. She is always the first person to recognise the good in others. She relishes the opportunity to support her friends, classmates and the wider GRPS student community. She is a keen runner and has enjoyed success in our cross-country events making it to District so far this year. She has shown exceptional leadership skills this year undertaking her role as prep liaison. Ensuring that our new prep students were supported in the yard and often giving up her own time before and after school to check in on their wellbeing. I would like to congratulate Alia.

What are some things you like to do outside of school?

Netball and volley ball. Playing with Finn my dog.

What makes you happy?

Spending time with family.

How do you like to help others at school?

Check to see how they are feeling, if they need a friend or someone to talk to.

What’s a goal you have for yourself this year?

Improve my understanding of fractions and decimals and how they work together.
