EAL

EAL at Great Ryrie Primary School

English as an Additional Language (EAL) refers to students who speak a language other than English at home and are developing their proficiency in English.

At Great Ryrie Primary School, our EAL students have been working hard to build their confidence and skills in English through a range of engaging activities. Recently, they have been focusing on using prepositions correctly in sentences, expanding their vocabulary, and practising reading aloud with fluency and expression.

These learning experiences are designed to support their language development and help them participate more confidently in all areas of the curriculum.

We are proud of their efforts and the progress they continue to make!
