FROM THE PRINCIPAL

As Term 1 draws to a close, I would like to thank all our staff and students for their efforts and commitment to what has been an incredibly busy start to the year. Each morning I welcome happy faces as they enter through the school gate so I must also extend a big thank you to our parents and carers who get their children to school and collect them each afternoon.
The St Nicholas School Art Competition and Talent Show have been the end of term 'wow factor'. Both events showcased the creative talents of our students. A big thank you to all the staff involved and congratulations to all those who entered.
ANZAC Day this year falls at the end of the Easter school holidays, Friday 25 April 2025. All students are invited to join myself and school staff in once again supporting the Australian tradition by marching in the ANZAC Day March down Peel Street. Every year our students impress onlookers with their neatness and pride. Please refer to full details in the ANZAC Day section of this newsletter.
I wish our entire school community a safe, holy and happy Easter, and I look forward to welcoming our students back in Term 2 on Monday 28th April.
Have a great fortnight,
Peter Flynn.
