(German for the Future)

In Germany, "Ostern" (Easter) is celebrated for two days, with Easter Sunday (Ostersonntag) and Easter Monday (Ostermontag) being official holidays, and the Easter bunny (Osterhase) tradition is said to have originated there.

Children participate in Easter egg hunts (Eiersuche) in their gardens or parks, with the eggs often hidden by the Osterhase.

Easter is a time for families to celebrate the arrival of spring (in Germany), with people often going for walks in the fresh air.

Easter bonfires (Osterfeuer) are a long-standing tradition in Germany, particularly in Northern Germany, symbolizing the drive away of winter and the welcome of spring.

We would like to wish Frohe Ostern to the Rangeview Primary School Community.

We encourage all students to revise their learning over the Easter break.
