Block N : Performing Arts Block  Roof replacement

You will notice that there is a fence around Block N, Performing Arts block and scaffold on the building.  Thanks to the Department of Education and our Infrastructure Advisor, the roof that has been leaking quite consistently over the past few years will be replaced.  The cost of the replacement roof is unable to be funded from the limited school maintenance budget and we appreciate our Region nominating this works for completion this year from capital works funding.

Works commenced Monday 31 March and providing there is no inclement weather over the upcoming vacation period, they should be complete by the 25 April 2025.

During this time pedestrian access from the Col Miller Driveway is limited.  Pedestrian and cyclists can enter through the gate on Waterworks Road near the LED school sign – bike racks have been moved down to this area and there are additional areas for bikes behind Block S, Science Block.

We apologies for any inconvenience this may cause while the new roof is installed.

• A Better Spectator Experience: We’re exploring options to provide additional shade for our bleachers, so parents and students can cheer on our teams in a safer, sun-friendly environment.

   

• Enhanced Student Safety: We’re evaluating the introduction of swipe card access for bathrooms to foster a more secure and accessible space for everyone.
