Junior School News

That’s a wrap on an amazing first term! It has been a fantastic 10 weeks of settling into our new year levels, building friendships, and embracing new learning opportunities. Our Junior School students have shown incredible enthusiasm and determination as they’ve explored new letters, sounds, and so much more. We are so proud of their achievements and the wonderful progress they’ve made.

Magnus C: This term I have loved playing with my friend Tom. I love playing Lego in the Cool Calm Zone. 

Camille W: I like Buddy Time and playing outside. My buddy is Isla. I loved when we played with the hula hoops!

Tom R: I love playtime. I have lots of Kinder friends with me! We love to play tag. 

Maddie P. I’ve loved buddy time! My grade 6 buddy is Juliette. She looks after me when we’re playing. We like making slime! 

Madi P: I’ve loved Writing this term. I loved writing a story about a magic lamp. I’m sounding out new words and making sure I have finger spaces and full stops in my writing.

Carter W: This term I have loved doing maths groups. I have been working on number bonds. I know that 3 and 3 make 6!

Aaliyah M: I’ve loved doing maths! We do lots of fun activities. I like using my new grid book too.

Amelia B: This term I have loved EVERYTHING! Everyone is so kind at this school.

Harvey M: I love all the lovely teachers and friends at school. I love Art with Ms M. The Easter bonnet parade was so much fun. We have fun at St Mary’s!

Daisy: I loved doing the Easter bonnet parade! I've also loved doing Writing. We level up our writing by adding different adjectives.

Angus W: I love doing sport with the lovely Miss Jones. Number soccer is my favourite!
