Welcome back to another exciting year at school! We hope everyone enjoyed a restful break and is feeling refreshed and ready for the year ahead. Weāre proud to share that our school is aĀ 3-Star Resource Smart School, recognising our strong commitment to sustainability across waste, biodiversity and curriculum.

This year, we are working towards achieving ourĀ Water and Energy stars, and we look forward to involving students and families in meaningful actions that make a real difference to our school and planet š

- š„ŖĀ Tuesdays are Nude Food Days ā please ensure all students bring litter-free lunchboxes.
š¶āāļøš“āāļøĀ Wednesdays are Active Travel Days ā students are encouraged to walk, ride or scoot to school where possible.

We would also like to congratulate our newĀ Sustainability Captains āĀ Max, Charlie and Bonnie! Weāre excited to see the leadership and enthusiasm they bring to our sustainability work this year.

š Finn Makes Waves on the International Stage! š

Over the holidays, Finn achieved an incredible result, winning theĀ Clean Up category in the 20th annualĀ BL Blastoff, an international online surfing event hosted by 1988 world champion surfer Barton Lynch.
Ā
Finnās submission highlighted his community efforts, demonstrating how collected bottle tops wereĀ recycled into practical products, such asĀ surfboard wax combs and school benches, showing creativity, sustainability, and care for the environment.

Finnās achievement was also featured on the cover of theĀ Geelong Advertiser and in theĀ Ocean Grove Voice. We are incredibly proud of Finn and his fantastic achievement ā congratulations! š
