The Land Sydney Royal Agshows NSW Young Woman Zone 7 Final
A group of enthusiastic Ardlethan Show Society members attended the Zone 7 finals of the Agshows NSW Young Woman Competition in Ganmain last Saturday to cheer on their finals entrant, Emmalea Kay. Emmalea did not disappoint and, as the youngest entrant, was exceptional when being interviewed as part of the competition criteria.
There were 18 contestants with various jobs and life experience, and Ardlethan Show Society would like to congratulate Emmalea for her participation on Saturday night. Emmalea went through three different areas of judging and did herself, her family and the Ardlethan Show Society proud.
In the words of Emmalea, "Initially I was very nervous, but I would like to thank the Ardlethan Show Society for giving me the opportunity and encouragement to get out of my comfort zone. I urge all other eligible young women from our community to put themselves out there and have this experience. You get to meet new people and it's such an event that you will never forget".
Congratulations, Emmalea, you were a fantastic representative and you really did make your parents and the Show Society proud.
Ardlethan Show Society would like to congratulate the three girls from Deniliquin, Cootamundra, and Gainmain who were chosen to go on to the Sydney Royal Show in a couple of months for the next stage of the Young Women Judging; and would like to thank Kristie Smith and the Gainmain Show Society for organising the night, and Kristie's help with the Young Women.
