Library

Welcome back everyone for 2026. It's been a warm start to the year, so the library is a great place to hang out. It's cool and we have lots of books to read, Lego, games and puzzles, and colouring in pages to keep the students entertained at lunchtimes.

We have been busy last year heavily culling some of our older resources allowing more space to update our reading selections. We were lucky enough to secure a $7000 book grant from Dymocks Bookstores so we will have some exciting new titles for the students and teachers to enjoy.

The "in class" reading every morning has been very successful with all students in primary borrowing and reading a book a week and sometimes more. With roll call for our secondary group in the library each day it gives them the opportunity to borrow books as well.

Library classes at the moment are:

• K/1/2 - Tuesday every week from 2.30 - 3.00pm 
• 3/4/5/6 - Wednesday - fortnightly Period 4 which will be Library Research

Parents if you can maybe put a reminder on the fridge to help your children to remember their books each week that would be great.
