Years 10-12

Welcome back!
Welcome back to students, staff, parents and the wider College community. I look forward to working in the 10-12 space once again in 2026. I hope our students are well rested after the holidays, and feel keen to take on the challenges of the new school year.
Our Year 10 students are a welcome addition to the 10-12 cohort, and we hope they enjoy their time in the senior school.
I encourage students and parents to make contact with me if any questions or queries arise, and I will aim to help in any way possible. Please contact me via the school on 5491 1280 or through Compass.
Student Leadership team
The 2026 School Captains were announced last year. Congratulations once again to Sarah Blair and Maggie Riley, who were selected for the captaincy roles. Our leaders fulfilled their first official role on Thursday morning when they ran the opening assembly. We look forward to the many important contributions that our four leaders will make to College life.
2026 VCE success
We would like to congratulate our VCE Year 12 class of 2025. We are very proud of their achievements, and wish them all the best with their future endeavours, and look forward to hearing about their future pathways.
Charlton students acknowledged
We were very proud of some of our recent graduates, who were acknowledged for their contribution to the Charlton Community in the past year. Fletcher (class of 2025) and Charlotte (class of 2023) were nominated for Buloke Young Citizen of the Year award, with Fletcher being named the eventual recipient of the award.
Employment and training opportunities
A regular feature of this section of the Newsletter is employment and training opportunities, along with other career-focused information. Senior students are encouraged to read this information, and follow up with anything that interests them. Information will also be sent to Year 10, 11 and 12 students via their school emails and on Compass.
