Attendance

This week as the term comes to a close, I have reviewed our student attendance levels. This is a requirement from Armidale Catholic Schools (ACS).  All students have their attendance record in Compass and in our ACS data ecosystem which is a visual representation of each students attendance throughout the term and continuing into the year.

Our term has had many students who have had illness and as always we say if they are unwell they should remain at home.

Please try to limit holidays in school time as this will also affect your child's attendance percentages and can push them in to the 'risk' and 'high risk' category.

As always we share with our families that without students in the classroom we cannot teach them and regular non attendance will have detramental effects on their learning. Just the 'odd day' off school can accumulate and put your child's attendance in risk for their learning potential.

Chrism Mass

Our Confirmation Candidates travelled to Armidale yesterday with Ms Sonego and Mr Hurtz for the Chrism Mass.  During this Mass the oil used in their Confirmation ceremony was blessed by the Bishop.  It was a wonderful occasion for our Diocese and we loved having Fr James there with us also.

Happy Holidays

Children have put a great deal of effort into their learning this term and I hope everyone has a wonderful rest!

Wishing you all a very blessed Easter.  Please avail yourself of the Holy Week ceremonies as your children have learned all about their significance in their Religious Education Lessons.

First day for students for Term 2 - 21st April - See you all then!
