A prayer for Mothers

Mother's day is this Sunday. At St. Therese's this is celebrated with the grade F-2 Mass for Mothers at 9:15 am on Friday the 8th of May. All mothers, grandmothers and community members welcome.

Loving God,

We thank you for the gift of our mothers - for their love, sacrifices and support.

Bless all mothers this Mother's Day.

Grant them strength in times of weariness, joy in moments of challenge, and peace in the busy moments. 

May you, God, make known to them the love we hold in our hearts for our mothers. Be with them always.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. 

Amen.

We pray for the Sacramental Candidates for Confirmation and Eucharist

A number of students have commenced their preparation for the Sacraments of Confirmation and first Eucharist. We join with the student's family and the parish community in praying for the students as they prepare to receive these special Sacraments of Christian Initiation. May this be a time of spiritual growth and understanding.
