Year 5 students had an unforgettable adventure at the Great Aussie Bush Camp, where they showcased their character strengths of bravery and teamwork. Throughout the three days, students cheered each other on, encouraging everyone to try their best and conquer their fear of heights during challenging harness activities.
Countless hours of fun were spent with friends, sharing meals, stories, and laughter while extending themselves in team-building exercises. They gained independence from packing and unpacking to getting ready for discos and enjoyed sleeping in cabins away from home.
Daily activities included the flying fox, power fan, archery, giant swing where they showed teamwork by walking back the rope for each other, raft building, fencing and cooking damper over the fire. Our amazing students truly rose to every challenge and celebrated their achievements together.
We can’t wait until the next camp!
