Winter Sports
This term as is tradition at Catherine McAuley our Year 3-6 students partake in our Winter Sport program. This entails our students travelling to different indoor venues through Orange (Pollets, Ten Pin Bowling, Littlefields Boxing, PCYC Gymnastics, Fitness Perfection, Gracie Barra) so that they can have the opportunity to participate in a range of skills and activites during and Orange winter. We at Catherine McAuley are very appreciative of all the venues for accommodating us during this term.
Southern Region Athletics Carnival Success!
We are incredibly proud to congratulate over 60 of our students who participated in the recent Southern Region Athletics Carnival in Cowra. Their enthusiasm, dedication, and sportsmanship were seen across all Track and Field events. All students gave their absolute best, demonstrating not only skill but great resilience and team spirit. A special mention to Pollyanna Bailey and Oscar Nunn who were both age champions. Well done.
A huge thank you to the teachers who accompanied the team to Cowra and their encouragement and support was appreciated on the day. We are also grateful for those parents and carers whose assistance at the carnival helped ensure the day ran smoothly. Thank you.
Special congratulations go to those students who have earned the opportunity to advance to the Bathurst Diocesan Carnival in Dubbo. This year we have around 30 students heading to Dubbo which is a fantastic result. We wish you all the best as you continue to represent our school with pride.
To all who participated—whether competing or supporting—your efforts have made us proud and helped strengthen our school community.
