Thank you  Mrs Garnon!

Thank you to our dedicated librarian and her helpers for organising another wonderful book fair. Thank you also to the families who visited and purchased from the book fair as a percentage of all sales go back to the school to buy new books for out library.

Our students are lucky at McAuley to have a weekly library lesson and opportunity to borrow from a wide collection of books. At MacAuley we encourage all students to learn to love reading for enjoyment.

CONGRATULATIONS 2 YELLOW

Last week 2 Yellow performed two poems at the Orange City Eisteddfod and were excited to receive 2nd Place in their section.

Thank you to Mrs Griffiths and Mrs Dunn for providing our students an opportunity to participate in this verse speaking competition.  Opportunities such as these provide students with skills such as articulation, voice projection, and public speaking confidence.

Well done Year 2- it was very brave to stand up in front of a large audience to recite these poems!
