Netball 

Congratulations to Charlotte Alderman and Isla McClure in Year 9 who have been identified and invited to trial for the 2026 Netball Victoria Talent Academy. 

This is an achievement and acknowledgement for their commitment on the netball court.

Womens Hockey

This weekend, coming back from a break, we had a rocky start. With our beloved coach Miss Waldron away on the Year 10 Central Australia trip, we had Dr Hawthorne helping with rotations and Mrs Henderson as our team manager. 

The game started with everyone getting back into the swing of things and returning to our ever-improving routine. Special thanks go to our gap student, Rosie Baker, who arrived to the field with barely any sleep, having just returned from her trip to New Zealand. At least Pedrina Park was a similar temperature to the ski fields in NZ!

The final score was a 2-2 draw against Dunkeld White. Evie Templeton scored off a quarter-ending short corner, slapping it into the bottom corner and Skye Headlam pulling off one of the goals of the season, hitting the ball in mid-air into the net. 

I am incredibly proud to be part of this group of girls, and it would be amazing to have more supporters come watch this amazing team. We are playing at 10.30am this Sunday at Pedrina Park if you would like to come down and cheer us on!

We hope Miss Waldron is having a wonderful time away, but hopefully she likes Polar Park better than 30-degree central Australia.
